Hi Toe'umu.
ReplyDeleteThis is a really comprehensive blog post about hiking in the outdoors. I really like how you have covered all aspects of safety here and added lots of information into the post so you readers know that they have to take this seriously!
It can be really changeable up there on the mountain with the weather so hikers have to be well prepared for any type of condition of change.
Have you ever done a big hike before or done the tongario crossing? I have not had the chance to do it but its definitely something I would love to do oneday. It takes training and time and preparation. Also having the right gear is really important.
Do you know any other big walks around NZ?
Blog you again Soon.

hi Clare,
DeleteThanks for the comment. I do not know any other big walks around New Zealand. I haven't done a big hike before or a tongario crossing before but it sounds interesting.
