On your blog, post five questions that you would like to ask Sir Edmund Hillary about his life.
Here are some questions i would ask Sir Edmund Hillary if i meet him:
1. How long did it take for you to reach Mt Everest?
2. Is there any reason on why you wanted to clime to Mt Everest?
3. Did anyone inspire you to climb to Mt Everest?
4. Who inspired you?
5. Is climbing Mt Everest the best time you have ever achieved in you life?
What was your favourite question?

Hello Toe'umu,
ReplyDeleteI am Vitaraag. My favorite question is how long did it take to reach Mt Everest. Do you want to climb Mt Everest? Maybe next time you can say some facts about Edmund Hillary. Keep up the phenomenal work!

Malo e lelei Toe'umu,
ReplyDeleteQuestion #5 is definitely a question only Sir Edmund Hillary could answer. I like that it is a personal question, because what we consider to be be his biggest achievement (climbing Mt Everest) may not be his biggest achievement in his own opinion.
Some of these questions you've asked could be answered easily with some research of your own. It is always good to think of some questions that only the person you are interviewing could answer/would know, that is something you could do in future.
Your third and fourth questions are pretty much the same, please write another question to replace question #4 in order to gain full points for this activity. :)
A few questions I would probably ask are; ‘Did you hallucinate at all breathing in the thin air?’ and 'Did you see anyone who had frozen to death on the climb? How did it make you feel?’. I bet the mental struggle was almost as tough as the physical climb, I can’t imagine trying to climb in that environment. Could you?
I look forward to reading your edited post.
Toe feiloa'i fo'i,
