Salsa originated in Cuba.
My 3 interesting facts are:
Salsa became first performed for the first time during final years of 19th century.
American soldiers became the first US Citizens who became aware of it during the Cuban War of 1898
Salsa dance was made popular by Johnny Pacheco, Fania All-Stars,Reuben Blades and Willie Colon.

You’ve shared three great facts that helped me gather a bit of background knowledge about the salsas origins. Perhaps next time you could post a salsa tutorial video for beginners, I’m sure readers would love to give it a go!
My favourite style of dance is Hip-Hop because it is so versatile and you can incorporate lots of other dance styles into it. It is such a joy to watch all the cool movements that choreographers come up with. What is your favourite style of dance?

ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment. My favourite dancing is hip-pop because i am in a hip pop group at school. Also my other favourite dance is tongan cultural group and i am in the Tongan group at school.
