On your blog, post a description of life in New Zealand in 2018. Please remember that the people who read your post will have never been to New Zealand or even seen a picture so it is your job to ‘paint a picture’ of New Zealand using your words. You can also post pictures, if you wish. Be sure to fully attribute the pictures.
New Zealand is the best country in the world (In my opinion). It has beautiful green trees, Native birds like (eg. Albatross).
There is water parks, Parks for entertainment, and also there is RAINBOWS END. You can take photos for your memories, when you return to your country. You can also breathe the fresh nice air. Also you can go and visit the city, Have you heard of the sky tower... It is the tallest building standing we also have a countdown on the sky tower for new years eve. You should see the fireworks there. Its Beautiful. Or if you cant make it in time you can watch it on Tv. Credit: Link Credit: Link Credit: Link |

Hi Toe'umu,
ReplyDeleteIt's Leslie here, reading your blog from my home in Canada as a member of the Summer Learning Journey team.
You've done a super job of describing things that visitors to New Zealand would enjoy doing. I think that most of the things you've described are in Auckland. If I were to visit the South Island would there be different things for me to see and do? Would I find more farms on the South Island than on the North, or more grape-growing areas? Do they have hot pools like Rotorua in the south?
Life in your country sounds very fun and very lovely. I have to say, though, that hanging upside down on the ride at Rainbow's End might cause me to pause for a moment.... Have you ever gone on this ride? EEK!
I hope you're having lots of fun this summer and that you're enjoying these Summer Learning Journey activities. I'll continue to enjoy reading your blog.
Cheers,
Leslie
