 Day 4: More than meets the eye, Activity 2: Pancakes and Maple syrup.

For this activity you are asked to choose one of your favourite foods. On your blog, write the name of your favourite food and then tell us how to make it. You may need to ask a family member, friend or Google (!) for help, if you do not normally make this food for yourself.

My Favourite food is Mince stew w/Rice:

Ingredients:

Mince
Onion
Carrot
Potato
Mix veges
Gravy
Rice

Method:

1. Brown mince and cook rice according to instructions on the packet.

2. Add onion carrot and potatoes, and cover it with water.

3. Cook for the mince for  20 mins

4. add mixed veges.

5. cook for another 5 mins

6. Drain any remaining liquid

7. Add gravy

8. Put the mince stew and rice in bowl/plate

    You have shared ingredients and instructions to make mince stew, ka pai, it looks very tasty and much like my mince stew (although I prefer curry over gravy or soy sauce). Perhaps next time you could include a photo of how it turns out when you make it next time at home. Have you cooked it on your own before? Your Mum must've taught you heaps!

    There are too many delicious foods in the world to pick only one! I love dumplings though, my family and I like to make all sorts of variations with our own fillings. Pork, cabbage and carrot dumplings with soy and hot chilli sauce is my favourite type.

    All you do is mix the meat (pork mince) and finely chopped veggies, then add small spoonfuls of the mixture per dumpling sheet. You then seal with a few drops of water and press down on before steaming on top of a pot of boiling water. Yum!

      Thanks for the comment. I really like the sound of dumplings. I haven taste them before. But i love the sound of how you make them. I will make sure to add a photo of how mine turned out. Thanks again for the comment cia.
