Week 2, Day 3, Activity 2: Offering a helping hand

Imagine that you were alive in the 1930s. What could you have done to help these families? On your blog, list three different ways that you could raise funds for families to help them buy food and clothing

  • Have a disco people pay 1 gold coin to enter
  • Movie night
  • Ask people to donate clothes or anything they don't need.

What great fundraising ideas. Are these ideas you have tried before for the raising money?
I think the disco was a great idea.. in those times they did not have loud speakers like they do now so Im not sure how they would play music? Do you have any ideas on what music they would use in the 1930s.

Movie night is a great idea. In that era the movies were a very rare and expensive thing to do. Where would they show the movie? and how would they find a movie to show. Were there any movies out in that era?

I think the last one is the best idea by asking people to donate clothes or anything they don't need. Im sure that could be done in any era right?

    Keep up the great blogging.
