Week 1, Day 4, Activity 2: Playing games

Choose one game,and on your blog,tell the (i) name of the game, (ii) the goal or purpose of the game,and three (iii) rules.

Name-Ti uru

Goal- The team who has the most points at the end wins.

Three rules- 1. Attack: Pass the ti or kī to one of your players standing on a mat to score points. Player (standing on mat) must catch and control the ti, ki, or poi on the full with an open hand.

    This is a new game to me. I have not heard of it before. Where abouts did you learn it? I love learning new games and teaching new games to my class so thanks for sharing this with me. Do you think students from all ages would enjoy learning and playing this game.
